The 211 Help! Line is a 24-hour crisis, information and referral, listening and support telephone line. The 211 Help! Line can provide referrals to community programs for financial assistance, food, clothing, medical assistance, social service programs, and government agencies

This website, developed by The Children’s Defense Fund and South Dakota Voices for Children, offers a free screening tool to help individuals and families determine their eligibility for low-income benefit programs and tax credits. The site also provides information about the documents and paperwork needed to apply for programs, office locations and contact information, and, for some programs, a printable application.
