Trainings are provided at no cost, but businesses can pay to become Safe Bar members to receive ongoing technical support. Visit the Safe Bars website and contact us to set up training.
Everyday Strong
In partnership with United Way of the Black Hills, Lost & Found, WAVI, and other community partners, Everyday Strong works to build resilient youth and strong communities. Research shows that having one trusted adult helps youth’s mental, physical, and social health. This training will provide tools to build these trusting relationships and safe environments for youth.

Signs of Domestic Violence
Signs of domestic violence
Domestic violence is a systematic pattern of controlling, coercive, and violent behaviors intended to punish, abuse, and ultimately control the thoughts, beliefs, and actions of another.
Signs of domestic violence include:
Isolation

Some signs of domestic abuse are more subtle than others, which can make it difficult to determine if you are in a dangerous situation. However, domestic violence is about power and control, and even seemingly small signs can point to a much larger issue. At WAVI, we’re here to guide you in assessing your case and coming up with a solution that allows you to safely leave a dangerous situation.
