September 25th - Power of Purple

Power of Purple is an annual community awareness event which is free and open to the public to connect people to resource agencies and learn how to become engaged and empowered to end domestic violence. October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Power of Purple helps get the conversation started to help break the cycle of domestic violence. Your voice has power!

October 2nd - Annual Candlelight Vigil

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The community is invited to attend our annual Candlelight Vigil honoring and remembering victims and survivors of domestic abuse. It takes a community working together to break the silence against domestic violence.

October 25th - RUSH Hockey Fundraiser

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Support WAVI by purchasing tickets to the first home game of the Rapid City Rush Hockey season 2019-2020! When you purchase tickets through the link provided, a portion of the proceeds are given back to WAVI to support services, programs, and our 24 hour emergency shelter and toll free crisis line. Volunteers and staff will also be selling Chuck-A-Pucks that evening.
