There are various volunteer opportunities available at Working Against Violence, Inc. (WAVI), a women, children, and men’s shelter in Rapid City, SD, such as child care, building and grounds maintenance, and helping in our donation room. We invite individuals who would like to assist us in our mission of helping survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault to fill out an application form and send it to:
Working Against Violence, Inc.
527 Quincy Street
Rapid City, SD 57701
We also accept group volunteers! This is a great opportunity to grab your coworkers, friends, and family members together to spend an enriching day giving back to your community.
Make a one-time, monthly, quarterly, or yearly contribution of any size to WAVI. You can easily make a donation on our website, or mail in your gift.
With a planned gift to WAVI, you can ensure the long-term support of our 24/7 shelter. You may also contribute a percentage of your estate or the entire residue of your estate. All estate contributions will receive a charitable estate tax deduction for the full value of the donation, so your estate will not pay estate tax on these assets.
Contact us today if you have any questions!
